November 12, 2018
B.U.M. Equipment is delighted to announce the signing of Vandale Industries to manufacture and sell Men’s Loungewear and Sleepwear starting for Fall 2019. Vandale, established in 1982 as a women’s intimate apparel company, presently holds the license for Vince Camuto in Men’s, and Jessica Simpson, Izod and Lucky Brand in Women’s. Heading up the Men’s Division for Vandale is Effie Zeyra, a menswear veteran.
Albert Ades Chairman of the Board of Vandale Industries commented on the addition of the B.U.M. Equipment License saying” We are excited to add the Iconic B.U.M. Equipment license to our stable of brands which will further our goal of growing our Men’s business. Our strong design team which has propelled our rapid growth will now be expanded into the Men’s arena. We look forward to working with the B.U.M. Team“
Stephen Wayne, Chairman of B.U.M. Equipment LLC, parent company that owns and operates the B.U.M. Equipment Brand was quoted as saying “the signing of Vandale will be a great addition to our product assortment offered in the USA market. It gives us another 10-15 additional SKU’s in the Men’s area which we relaunched last back to school with Urban Outfitter’s. Vandale is a great company and I have had a close relationship with them over the past 25 years and I know when they take on any licenses they work very hard to make them successful.”
Wayne went on to say “This will bring the number of licenses in the USA to 12. B.U.M. Equipment continues to seek out additional licenses for representation in America and the rest of the World. Wayne has been associated with B.U.M. since 1986 and has owned and or operated the Brand throughout the world with the exception of a few countries since 1997. At its peak B.U.M. had 35 licenses domestically and sales have reached over $ 3,000,000,000 since taking over the ownership after B.U.M. declared bankruptcy back in 1996.
